For this week Wednesday 6th of May, the interim presentation online where we have to submit the video of our presentation pre-recorded online. With the format of pecha-kucha 20 second per slide. And maximum of 3 minutes per person.
The video shown below is my online pre-recorded presentation for Photonovel.
On this presentation I had realized, I do not have a proper solid story yet and a concept. Because my story was not being specific during the presentation, which I have heard from my fellow classmates. One of the comments was specified on my interviews weren't too clear on the topic that I am researching on. And my choice of narrative techniques need a bit of planning before proceeding.
Moving forward, my focus priority is to get the solid story for it and get the concept of my interpretation of the idea. Where i need to do more research towards what kind of audience am I targeting from the story given. Story, concept and narrative technique will be my priority for this week.
Tutorial for this week, where I have shown what researched after the submitted video above. I have attached the slide for this weeks progress.

Images below is my slide progress, where I researched more about how photonovel is a western style comic. Where we start reading from left towards right and then rinse and repeat. Do we have to follow western culture?

Upon researching for composition styles for the photography, I had this in my mind where could we go against the norm when it comes to photonovel? Technically it is a comic as well on this time? Yes? No? Moving forward with more sketches in the next blog.

In the image above shows the manga style comic, where they do not have a constant shape of composition where it they are reading from the top right and progressive as you read, you will immediately know where to read next. So my question is could we adapt photonovel in this style? It goes to my experimentation later on.

On this last picture where how the bubble text is being placed along with the composition of the image. I noticed space is really important in the photography so it does not look occupied with it.
What's my next step?
•Idea story board or plotting from my friends interview. (just started)
•Researching fonts for the photonovel. Fonts: Adventure, April Fools, Wild Words, augie, Anime Ace, Acme Secret Agent, SF Wonder Comic, Laffayette Comic Pro, Digital Strip, Manga Temple according to some websites regarding comic.(links in the slide from devianart.)
•Sketches(still looking for inspiration)
•Researching more on audience towards LGBTQ, feelings, POV, etc
•POV Teenagers
•POV Young adults/ adults
•Practioners (a few)
•Senior citizens
